Old Girls' Association

The Marsden Old Girls' Association is an enthusiastic and active group within the school community. We always welcome news of Old Girls.

We'd like to use this page to spread word of our events and help Old Girls keep in contact with each other wherever they are in the world.

Old Girls' Day - Friday 1 November

Old Girls that attended Marsden Year 10/4th Form in years ending with 9 (2009, 1999, 89, 79, 69 etc) this is your year to join us for Old Girls' Day on Friday 1 November 2019.

This is a special day to reminisce, reconnect with classmates/teachers and to checkout any changes since you were here. For more details see our Old Girls Day page.

AGM

The Old Girls’ Association holds the AGM on Old Girls’ Day each year following the assembly to enable as many Old Girls as possible to attend. The AGM features reports and interesting insights from the Principal and the Chair of the Management Board and is your chance to have your say in the running of the Association.

The AGM will be held at 11am in the Swainson Room, Marsden House on Friday 1 November 2019.

To see the AGM Agenda, President’s report, Financial report and a remit to be voted on at the AGM, please refer to the Old Girls’ Association Papers.

We will only be physically mailing out the papers to Life Members for whom we do not have an email address.  If you prefer a printed copy, please email your preference to Rosalba.finnerty@marsden.school.nz.

Word from Marsden

One of Marsden’s key strategies is to operate in a sustainable manner, which includes considering the impact of our actions on the natural environment. Marsden produces a number of printed publications a year (including the WORD from Marsden magazine, due out at the end of October, and other MOGA material (newsletters, invitations etc).

We would like to give Old Girls the option to receive these publications via email. If you prefer a printed copy please complete this online form or email rosalba.finnerty@marsden.school.nz asking to receive MOGA material (newsletters, invitations etc) and/or WORD from Marsden magazine in print. If we do not hear from you we will assume you are happy to receive emailed copies.

To ensure you receive your copies by email you may need to update your contact details. You can fill in a form online here and press 'submit by email' button. NB: you will not see a copy of the completed form when you do this. Or you can print it out, fill in manually and send to the address at the bottom of the form.
