Fitzherbert Terrace School


No 20 Fitzherbert Terrace
No 20 Fitzherbert Terrace. Built by Mrs Swainson, in 1878. Demolished in 1967 to make way for the motorway.  There is a memorial plaque in the Katherine Mansfield Gardens (opposite Queen Margaret's College)


No 47 and No 53 Fitzherbert Terrace were rented from Mr Harry Beauchamp (Katherine Mansfield's father).

No 53 was used mainly for the primary pupils
