Marsden After School Club (MASC)

Marsden is pleased to offer Marsden After School Care for our Year 1- 8 students and their siblings at our Karori Campus.

This programme is available Monday to Friday from 3:15pm - 6pm and is run out of the Primary School with the school grounds and the upper school facilities also being available depending on the activity.

The activity programme is designed by our Marsden staff and is overseen by the Director of the Primary School. A trained supervisor will manage the programme on a daily basis. The MASC programme follows the Ministry of Social Development's OSCAR guidelines (see attached Resources at right for OSCAR standards).

The programme will have a variety of activities on offer, to suit the age group and energy levels of the students. There will be a designated homework session each day and opportunities to take part in art and craft sessions, as well as being physically active. Afternoon tea will be provided.

The service is only open to Marsden families, siblings of current students and children of staff.

Fees will be disbursed to the student’s account at the start of the term and the fee structure is as follows:

Fees
Cost per day (booked from start of the term) $ 23
Casual per day $ 25
Cost for part of day 3:15pm up to 4:30pm  $15

We believe that a Marsden After School Care programme will offer a lovely, extended care and learning experience for our students in an environment they know well.
